The Interplanetary Astrodynamic Navigation Authority (IANA) has issued a Sector Yellow Advisory for portions of the outer Solar System following cascading communications disruptions linked to rolling blackouts in the New Troy habitat network at the Jupiter-Sun L4 point.
According to IANA officials, intermittent power failures across several major New Troy cylinder districts have caused repeated outages among privately operated datacenter satellites responsible for long-baseline synchronization, navigational ephemeris mirroring, and outer-system packet routing. The outages have already produced degraded information access throughout Jovian, trans-Saturnian, and Neptunian communication networks.
New Troy serves as one of the principal relay and data-transfer hubs connecting the inner-system communications lattice to habitats and installations in the outer Solar System. Longstanding transportation and governance disputes between New Troy and the Jovian Union have already strained infrastructure reliability and increased operational burdens across the ecliptic.
